Trust (EP)
Out on March 7, 2025
In January 2025, Voidchaser released Trust, the lead single from their upcoming EP of the same name. A poignant exploration of betrayal, redemption, and fragile faith, Trust delves into the hopes of being accepted by surrendering one’s sense of self-identity and blindly trusting another’s judgment. Featuring the powerful guest vocals of Jim Grey from the iconic Australian prog metal band Caligula’s Horse, the track blends vulnerability through its catchy vocal melodies with elegantly simple yet impactful riffs. As the final chapter in the conceptual saga established in Solace (released in September 2024) and their debut EP Odyssey (released in February 2024), Trust continues the journey of Voidchaser’s protagonist—this time lost in the void of space, battling despair, and confronting their traumas. With its blend of visceral intensity and introspective depth, Trust is a testament to Voidchaser’s storytelling prowess and musical evolution.
